Dressing became a chore rather than the joy it once was. Motherhood, rewarding in myriad ways, also erased aspects of my personality. Shopping for clothes filled me with dread.
But I had forgotten a fundamental truth: you are not meant to fit your clothes, your clothes are meant to fit you. Sunayna reminded me that I deserve to look and feel amazing in the body I have now.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and shopping with Sunayna several times over the course of seven years. From large life events to everyday life, I have been so fortunate to count on her to guide me to the perfect outfits. Sunayna is so knowledgeable and practical and her suggestions have always been spot on!
In the various seasons of my life I have found it difficult at times to prioritize shopping. Sunayna takes care of the stress by pre-shopping. This to me is worth its weight in gold as you can just show up, try, and select. It really simplifies the process that can, at times, feel daunting and overwhelming.
Not only does she suggest staple pieces that are timeless, but also ways to maximize and mix up clothing items for various events or times of the year. Also, all of the clothing we select is me; never have I purchased or felt pressured to try something I knew I wouldn't like or be true to my style. To me that is the essence of a great stylist- understanding your needs and matching them.

I first met Sunayna a few years ago when I needed some outfits for a work trip and had no idea where to start. I had been following her on Instagram for a little while and took the plunge in reaching out and booking a consultation, having no idea what to expect. Immediately I felt like Sunayna “got me.” I didn’t need to go over budget and shop at stores I couldn’t afford in order to reap the benefits of her services. I didn’t need to be a specific size, height, weight, age, etc. either. I truly felt like I could be myself, something I didn’t realize was so important until I started writing this.
The consultation is the first step, where Sunayna will walk you through the whole process, discuss style goals, budget, and work through items you need and don’t need. You’ll then send over some sizing information and pictures, so she can work with your body shape and size, as well as a Pinterest board of looks you like. This gives her enough info to begin putting together ideas for what you’re after.
Now, the next part is the best one. You show up at the store AND THE SHOPPING IS DONE FOR YOU. I REPEAT - THE SHOPPING IS DONE FOR YOU. I personally do not like clothes shopping. It’s a chore, not a fun activity, so showing up at multiple shops with items already chosen and put aside on hold was LIFE CHANGING. Once you’re in the change room, Sunayna will show you how to maximize (her favourite word I swear) all of the pieces so you can incorporate them into your existing wardrobe and wear them throughout multiple seasons. She is so good at maximizing that she has helped me shop for two different multi-week Europe vacations using only a carry on. She’s good, y’all.
Shopping with Sunayna is so, so fun. People sometimes give us funny looks because we are laughing so hard and having such a great time. That said, she is efficient. You’re on the clock when you’re shopping so she keeps that in mind and makes sure we stick to our schedule. There is also no pressure to buy everything she picks, you get to decide what works best for you and your budget.
The feeling of leaving the store with multiple outfits that I know fit well, that can work with clothes I already own and that I now have the knowledge to style on my own was, and continues to be, incredible to me each time I shop with Sunayna. Having someone “do your shopping for you” is definitely a little luxury, but for me, it’s worth it time and time again to know I won’t dread shopping, have a great time, and truly learn from so that when I do need to go shopping alone (which I hate, my cry emoji DM’s to Sunayna will prove it) I am not so overwhelmed. Thank you Sunayna for the services you offer, I truly believe you’ve made me so much more confident in how I dress and present myself to the world!

I booked a personal shopping appointment as a fun thing to do with my friend. We had an absolute blast and got more out of it than expected. We learned great tips on how to dress for our bodies, faced our own roadblocks in fashion and we had lots of laughs and one cry each too!
I initially resisted one outfit she chose for me but walked out with it being my favourite. How does that happen? A self-induced fashion 'no-no' I gave myself years ago was lifted in a few minutes. Months later, it is still my favourite. Sunayna is loving, fun and talented. You will NOT be disappointed (just please don't book her up so much that I can't get another appointment!!).

I had been following House of Nayna on social media for months, and finally with 3 of my close girlfriends we decided to book a session. We walked into Valencia Boutique on a Sunday morning to find carefully picked racks of items for all of us. There were pieces that we would have never chosen for ourselves but ultimately fell in love with when we tried them on and were shown how to style them properly. The session was half shopping and half therapy as the whole point is to love yourself and the body you’re in and find clothes that fit well and make you feel good. There was no pressure to buy anything at the end but of course we went home with our arms full. Sunayna is so kind and fun to be around that you are guaranteed to have a great time and find yourself some beautiful pieces. I highly recommend booking a session and can’t wait to do it again!
